Mayor Reed worked with partners and community stakeholders to recruit record investment and jobs to Montgomery. His leadership brought $1.7 BILLION in capital investment and 2,000 new jobs to Montgomery IN 2022 ALONE!
Amazon is building its only IXD facility in the state in Montgomery, which is a $100 million investment that will create 500 new jobs.
The state’s port authority will build an Inland Container Intermodal Transfer Facility in Montgomery. This is a transformative project with an economic impact of $54 million. Estimates predict it will create 2,500 new jobs.
Most recently, Hyundai announced it will expand its U.S. production in Montgomery to include electric vehicles. Montgomery will now be essential to delivering on the promise of a clean energy future thanks to this $300 million investment that will create 200 jobs.
